On Friday, 2 October 2026, Love Green Nepal (LGN) assembled its 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) under the chairpersonship of President Ms. Amira Dali. The AGM provided an important institutional platform for reviewing LGN’s programmatic performance, financial management, governance and accountability practices, and strategic priorities for the forthcoming fiscal year.

Programmatic and Institutional Performance Review

General Secretary Mr. Rajiv Ratna Shakya presented LGN’s Annual Progress Report for Fiscal Year 2082/83 B.S., providing a comprehensive overview of the organization’s key achievements, program implementation, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and results achieved at the community level.

The report highlighted LGN’s continued efforts to advance inclusive, sustainable, and community-centered development, with a particular focus on strengthening local capacities, improving livelihoods, promoting education and empowerment, supporting environmentally responsible practices, and fostering meaningful participation of communities and stakeholders.

Financial Accountability and Responsible Resource Management

Treasurer Ms. Aju Giri presented the Audited Financial Statements for FY 2082/83 B.S., along with the proposed Annual Program and Budget for FY 2083/84 B.S.

Approval and Way Forward

Following detailed deliberations, constructive discussions, and valuable feedback from the members, the Annual Progress Report and Audited Financial Statements for FY 2082/83 B.S. were unanimously approved by the General Assembly. The proposed program priorities and budget for FY 2083/84 B.S. were likewise endorsed.
