Visit from Former Japanese Parliamentarian to Bhakramdevi Secondary School

On Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 (Chaitra 19, 2081 B.S.), former member of Japan’s Upper House,    Ms. Mieko Kamimoto, along with her team—Ms. Hachumi Nabeshima, Ms. Keiko Shimokawa, and Ms. Tomiyo Fukuzawa—visited Bhakramdevi Secondary School located in Ward No. 2 of Panchkhal Municipality, Kavre. The school building was originally constructed in 1999             (2056 B.S.) through support from AWCEF Japan in collaboration with Love Green Nepal. Last year, the organization also contributed NPR 962,000 for roof renovation.

During the visit, the Love Green Nepal team including President Amira Dali, Advisor Keshav Aryal, and Executive Director Narayan Prasad Gyawali welcomed the Japanese guests alongside the school community. The event included interaction sessions with students and faculty, where the impact of infrastructure support and scholarship programs was shared with appreciation.

Later, a separate interaction was held at the Love Green Nepal branch office in Ward No. 6 with former students who benefited from the program. Participants shared their experiences and expressed heartfelt gratitude to AWCEF Japan and the Japanese guests. The visit concluded with mutual goodwill and hopes for continued collaboration.
