Love Green Nepal (LGN) conducted the District Project Advisory Committee Meeting on October 31, 2025, at the District Coordination Committee Office, Dhulikhel, Kavre.
The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Mr. Shiva Prasad Humagain, District Coordination Officer of Kavre, with Mr. Dipak Kumar Gautam, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, serving as the Special Guest. Ms. Surya Maya Danuwar, Deputy Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality, also participated, along with representatives from the Livestock Office, Agriculture Development Office, National Agriculture Modernization Office, and the District Administration Office, Kavre.
During the meeting, Mr. Narayan Prasad Geywali, Executive Director of LGN, presented the progress and financial report of projects implemented in the fiscal year 2081/082. Among the major initiatives, the Fresh IPM Vegetable Production and Market Promotion Project was highlighted as a key intervention aimed at reducing chemical pesticide use in Panchkhal’s agriculture and promoting market opportunities for safe agro-produce.
Other notable projects included the E-Library Establishment, Scholarship Distribution and Capacity Development Program, Environment Conservation through Plantation and Community Forest Management, and the Project for Improving Child Nutrition through Local Agriculture and Community Awareness.
Participants appreciated LGN’s effective implementation of impactful community projects with limited resources, noting that the positive social results are clearly visible. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen collaboration among local bodies and stakeholders for sustainable community development in the district.
